Spyder's JetStream Mobile Media Hub is a self-powered, Wi-Fi wonder that lets you stream digital media files to up to six mobile devices simultaneously.
How it works Simply plug in a USB storage device, such as a flash drive or portable hard drive, that contains your digital media library. Almost instantly, you can begin wirelessly streaming to up to five mobile devices that have the JetStream Wi-Fi DAS app installed.

Stream to your iPad, iPod, iPhone, Android device, and laptop around your home, business, hotel… Stream in your car during a family trip to the beach, or even at the beach itself. No matter where you are, with JetStream everyone can enjoy their favorite movies, music, photos, and ebooks. Not only can you stream different content to each linked device, you can even stream the same file to different devices asynchronously. For example, two people can watch the same movie at the same time, but from different playback points.
Full Internet access Your mobile devices retain full Wi-Fi Internet access while linked to the JetStream. So, if you need to pause playback to check your e-mail or surf the web, no problem. And the JetStream itself does not need an Internet connection to operate.
Two-way transfers As a wireless storage solution, JetStream does more than just provide extra data storage over Wi-Fi. JetStream allows two-way data transfers. Important Information About Handling and Disposing of Lithium-Ion Batteries
This product contains a lithium-ion battery that must be disposed of properly. Do not dispose of this product in your household trash. Recycle it in accordance with local regulations.
Do not dismantle, open or shred secondary cells or batteries.

Can I copy files from my computer running Windows to my JetStream?
JetStream Hub plays files stored on a separate USB drive that you plug into the JetStream Hub. You first need to save file to the USB drive.

JetStream Hub plays files stored on a separate USB drive that you plug into the JetStream Hub. The drive must be formatted with the NTFS file system. You Mac may not be able to write to an NTSF drive. However, there are a number of third-party NTFS utilities, such as Paragon NTFS For Mac or Tuxera NTFS for Mac, that you can install on your Mac, and which will give you full NTSF compatibility. Spyder does not endorse, recommend, or support any third-party software.

When I download a file from JetStream to my mobile device, where does it get stored?
It will be stored within the JetStream Wi-Fi DAS app.
Does JetStream stream in HD?
It is capable of streaming in HD, but some devices may not support High Definition formatted videos.

I purchase files on iTunes for use with my iPad. Will they work on JetStream?
If the iOS device is authorized to view the content (authenticated to the account that purchased the content) and supported by the device, then yes, the files can be stored on the JetStream and played on the iOS device.
How many mobile devices can I link to JetStream?
Up to six.
If I lose the connection to JetStream because I'm out of range, will it automatically re-connect when I am back in range?
Most devices will automatically connect to your normal Wi-Fi network if the connection to JetStream is lost. You will need to reestablish the connection to JetStream.
What is JetStream’s range?
The maximum range is 200 feet. However, the range will depend on specific site conditions. For example, in your home, walls can reduce the range.
Is there password protection or encryption on JetStream?
Yes. You can set up a password to restrict access to your JetStream network. JetStream uses WEP-Auto, WPA-PSK, or WPA2-PSK protocols, and TPIK or AES encryption.
